Raw Card Condition Guide
Understanding condition grades helps you evaluate card value accurately
| Condition | Description |
|---|---|
| Near Mint (NM) | Little to no wear. Surfaces are clean, corners are sharp, and edges show minimal whitening. NM cards consistently sell for the highest raw prices. |
| Lightly Played (LP) | Minor edge whitening or small surface scratches. These cards remain desirable but typically sell for less than Near Mint copies. |
| Moderately Played (MP) | Noticeable wear including visible whitening, surface scuffs, or corner wear. Value drops significantly compared to NM and LP copies. |
| Heavily Played (HP) | Heavy edge wear, visible scratches, or corner wear. These are valued primarily for collection completion rather than condition. |
| Damaged (DMG) | Major flaws such as creases, bends, dents, or tears. Even rare cards lose most of their value when damaged. |
